At EAP for Health Professionals, we provide a range of EAP services across Australia via tele-health or face to face in our Blackburn North Offices.
We provide support for employees on a preventative basis to assist with long-standing stressors or in situations where an incident or circumstance has occurred that may be considered as acutely stressful.
Our counselling service enhances accessibility and flexibility for health employees located all over Australia.
Our EAP Services
-
Individual Counselling
As part of our Employee Assistance Priogram, we offer short- to medium-term individual EAP counselling for a wide range of workplace and personal difficulties for health professionals. Typically, employees attend between 3-6 sessions with employees with additional needs being supported to access additional supports as appropriate to their needs.

Critical incident support
We offer EAP support for employees who have been involved in a critical incident at work. A critical incident can be broadly defined as an event or series of events that are experienced as sudden, prolonged, distressing, unexpected, overwhelming or threatening.
As well as offering initial support, we also offer follow-up over the weeks after the event to make sure that the difficulty has been processed emotionally.
